• He was awarded a Law Degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1998 and gained a PhD in the Criminal Law Department from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. • He has worked in the Litigation Department of the firm CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo (1999-2005) and later in litigation and arbitration at DLA Piper (2005-2008), until he became a founding partner at GOLD Abogados (2008) as head of Litigation and Arbitration.
PRESENTATIONS AND INTERVENTIONS:
• He has extensive experience as the head lawyer in numerous domestic and international arbitrations and legal proceedings. He is an expert in handling civil cases related to regulated sectors such as energy and telecommunications, and has extensive experience in advice to ‘family offices’, construction and infrastructure companies, banks and large retailers. • He is also an attorney specializing in the handling of disputes relating to the private application of competition and unfair competition law, and has defended the interests of large companies in the most significant bankruptcy proceedings.
